DNP Ep. 4: The Journey of the Nurse Strategist and Gap Closer

Jill is the Founder and CEO of Nurse Assure which is a company with the goal of making a BIG impact on closing the gap in cancer patient education and improving the lives of cancer patients. She is a nurse, entrepreneur, speaker, and consultant. And at the core of it all a relentless patient advocate. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Tennessee and began working the glamorous night shift on an oncology floor in a South Carolina hospital. Throughout her career, she has worked in inpatient & outpatient settings and has spent more than 15 years working in Clinical Trials. In 2010, Jill earned her Master of Public Health (Health Planning & Administration), and skipped walking at graduation in lieu of snuggling with her new 2 month-old daughter. Their second daughter completed her family and moved back to Indiana for family. Jill is married to her high school sweetheart.
