Meet Our Host Dr. Sandra Pagenta
Dr. Sandra Pagenta is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who is the host of the Doctor Nurse Podcast. She started her career journey as an Oncology nurse after finishing her BSN. She quickly learned that bedside nursing was not for her.
She worked as a nurse for 4 years before finishing her Masters degree in Adult Care Nursing in 2012. During her time a GI Nurse Practitioner she pursued and completed her Doctorate in Nursing in 2016.
It was her abrupt job loss that prompted her to figure out her true calling-which is empowering nurses to view their careers with a business mindset. I want to help nurses see that they have all they need to have the careers that want at their fingertips!! They just to be brave enough to find it, and bold enough to ask for what they want.

I particularly enjoyed the episode with Jill regarding discussion of gap closure through knowledge sharing and leadership development. As a younger nurse new to leadership, hearing this discussion inspires and empowers me to be intentional in each aspect of my work. I am hoping to hear more from the non-clinical, more business, side of nursing.
