DNP Ep. 3: The Journey of the Board Certified Lactation Family Nurse Practitioner

Ivy graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 and worked in various areas of nursing for 5 years before acquiring her Master’s degree in 2007. Currently, she is enrolled in the post-masters DNP program at ECU.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Ivy has worked for 13 years at CHS Pediatric Office in Greenville NC. Ivy has the desire to deliver excellent patient care to help her patients achieve optimal health as a family unit. She has obtained her certificate of advanced education in obesity medicine with OMA She sits on their National Pediatric Committee. For the last 8 years, she has been an international board-certified lactation consultant.
Ivy enjoys her long-term relationship with her boyfriend, Mark as well as hiking, and photography.
